While the fiction of Montalbano was shot in the South Eastern Sicily, with its imposing baroque and neoclassical architectural structures, in a Sicily by the wild nature and the long golden sandy beaches, instead of Andrea Camilleri novels are set between Vigàta and Montelusa or towns fantasy, identified with Porto Empedocle and Agrigento.
